The Clodomiro Picado Institute of the University of Costa Rica (ICP-UCR) has more than 40 years of existence; but today, its scientific knowledge and technological experience have joined forces one more time; this time, to take on the challenge of producing an antiophidic serum to neutralize venoms from the three most venomous species of snakes in Sri Lanka with onesingle antidote.
