University Community Service
What is the project about?
This university community service consists of providing training to communities in Costa Rica on the prevention and proper treatment of bites by poisonous snakes
What activities do we do?
Socioeducational workshops are held on the prevention and treatment of the ophidic accident, as well as the instruction of community leaders or authorities in the area.
Where is it carried out?
In rural areas of the country with a high incidence of ophidian accidents.
What is required to participate?
Being a student of Microbiology, nursing or teaching natural sciences. Availability to attend the tours, which are usually held on holidays
